Its a beautiful day outside. Yet regardless of the days beauty, I still managed to turn the morning into a chaotic adventure. Lately, I have been challenging myself to ride the bus into work, then peddle my bike home after the work day is done; but this morning, I made the ultimate mistake... I got on the wrong bus! Now, I know you are wondering, "How the heck do you do that?!" Sadly... I can't answer that question. But I can tell you I learned a valuable lesson.
1. Pay attention to the numbers on the bus, they are there for a reason.
2. Get off as soon as you realize you are on the wrong bus, the longer you wait, the farther away from your destination you may get.
3. Enjoy the chaos!! :)
"May all your Weeds be Wildflowers"
After taking a moment to recoup from this morning, I ran into the little guy pictured above. These flowers were the only flowers still alive in an entire garden on the side of the street; and while they weren't perfect flowers, they still looked beautiful. The simple little flower reminded me, no matter how hard things are, they can still hold beauty. With that, I plan on focusing on the good of the day and allow all my "weeds" to be "wildflowers". (And hopefully I can do this without any more transportation mishaps!)
