Good God, this Place is Beautiful.

Another early morning.  It's as if my body can't sleep past 5am.  If I make it to 5 without waking, it's as if I slept in for hours.  So what do I do while the rest of the world snuggles in tight?  I walk. I read. I think.

This morning was a peaceful morning.  I started it with a hot cup of coffee, and a drive over to Luther Burbank Park.  One of the beauty's about being an early riser is that when you get to the park, you have the whole thing to yourself.  Luther Burbank Park is a beautiful and peaceful place, especially when you have it to yourself.

Tator and I walked laps around the park.  We walked down by the lake and listened to the rain on the water.  We walked through the trails in the trees and enjoyed the company of the squirrels.  We walked through the fields and danced to the song of the birdsIt was beautiful.  Tator of course had to smell every bush and make sure if any birds landed that he chase after them.  So while Tator enjoyed being free, I enjoyed the beauty of the nature all around me.

There's something so peaceful about being outside. The early morning air is crisp and refreshing, the sound of the animals is more beautiful than any song, and the smell of fresh rain is better than any scent I've smelled.  I love being outside.  All chaos seems to disappear and life feels so SIMPLE.

It was a beautiful morning.  I live in a beautiful place. And I'm glad Tator and I got up early to enjoy before the city wakes.  Today will be a good day.  I'm declaring that now and speaking nothing but positive vibes over it.  God has blessed me. So what have I to worry or be negative about? What a beautiful morning.
